This year’s Tribeca TV Festival will close with the premiere of the final episode of Amazon’s Transparent, which ends the series following the departure of Jeffrey Tambor.
The Transparent “Musicale Finale” sees the Emmy and Golden Globe winning series morph into a dazzling movie fantasia inspired by classic musicals. According to the Tribeca TV announcement, “when the Pfeffermans face a life-changing loss, they begin a journey hilarious and melancholy, brazen and bold. As they take on this new transition and confront their grief—with all of their extended family members by their side—they come together to celebrate connection, joy, and transformation.”
Following the screening there will be a conversation with executive producers Jill Soloway and Faith Soloway and additional cast.
The Details Transparent will close the 2019 Tribeca TV Festival on Sunday September 15th at 6pm. For more information and to purchase festival tickets head to the Tribeca TV website. Following the Tribeca TV Festival, the series musicale finale premieres on September 27th on Amazon Prime Video.
