Exclusive Image: Netflix's October Faction Season 1

The Queer Review is excited to reveal this exclusive image from new series October Faction created by Damian Kindler (American Gods, Sleepy Hollow, Krypton). Based on the IDW comics by Steve Niles and Damien Worm, season 1 of October Faction, which has been described as Men in Black meets Riverdale, launches globally on Netflix this Thursday January 23rd.

This exclusive image from season 1 features Gabriel Darku as Geoff Allen and Praneet Akilla as Phillip Mishra. Tomorrow we will publish our exclusive interview with Gabriel Darku where he talks about playing this out and proud gay highschooler. While Geoff’s parents are taking on warewolves, vampires, witches and warlocks, the seventeen year-old is encountering monsters of a different kind, such as jock Phillip, in the hostile world of his new high school.

The series stars J.C. MacKenzie and Tamara Taylor as the globetrotting monster hunting couple Fred and Deloris Allen who hide their identities as members of a covert syndicate from their seventeen year-old twins Geoff (Gabriel Darku) and Viv (Aurora Burghart). As the series opens the death of Fred’s father forces the family to move back to their hometown in upstate New York which is trapped in the past.
