“We are deeply saddened, disturbed, and outraged about the increase in Asian hate crimes over the last year”, comments Calamity Chang and Thirsty Girl Productions, “in light of that we are donating a portion of our proceeds to the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum.” NAPAWF focuses on building power with AAPI women and girls to influence critical decisions that affect their lives, families and communities through reproductive justice.

The annual Asian Burlesque Festival event aims to bring visibility and exposure to performers of colour who have traditionally been marginalized and erased in the history of theatre, entertainment, and burlesque. The festival “focuses on POC of Asian heritage to broaden the racial spectrum in modern burlesque.”
