Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival celebrates LGBTQ+ comedy talent with Stand Out at LA’s iconic Greek Theatre hosted by Billy Eichner & more events announced

On Saturday, May 7th, Billy Eichner will host Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival’s Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Promising to be a starry night of queer entertainment, the lineup features Bob the Drag Queen, Eddie Izzard, Fortune Feimster, Gina Yashere, Guy Branum, James Adomian, Joel Kim Booster, Judy Gold, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho,  Marsha Warfield, Matteo Lane, Patti Harrison, River Butcher, Sam Jay, Sandra Bernhard,  Scott Thompson, Solomon Georgio, Tig Notaro, Todd Glass, Trixie Mattel, and Wanda Sykes. More names are expected to be announced in the lead up to the event, which will be produced by Page Hurwitz, Wanda Sykes for Push It Productions, Brian Graden and Dave Mace for Brian Graden Media.

Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival will stage over 250 live shows across over 30 venues across Los Angeles and is produced by Netflix in association with Live Nation.

Outdoors At Hollywood Palladium, a seven-day free mini-fest within the fest, located off of Sunset Blvd. will include festival merchandise, food and drinks, photo opportunities, “funny” mini golf, a Netflix is a Joke Museum of Comedy, and interactive experiences based on Netflix series. A nightly show, “The Drop In” will feature surprise sets from some of the biggest names in comedy with a different host each night such as Joel Kim Booster and Bob The Drag Queen.
