The Venezuelan photographer’s work is a representation of his mind, his views on life, experiences and adventures. The images in his series UNLOCKED explore the art of appropriation. Living in a world of digital access and intangible personas, this work is based on social media voyeurism and the redefinition of self-portraiture. We are unlocking ourselves to the world and craving the attention of digital acceptance, insta-gratification and the imaginary perfection. Rodriguez’s work is the perfect reflection of our digital times.
